one bottle down

so we are one bottle of cab down at the cafe and the generous patron has stepped away and told us to order another and await his arrival back at eh cafe de paris and i am now blogging on his mac book. really sweet of him. so far everything is really incredible. my thoughts do extend to the fact that it seems man has raped and screwed the earth on all sides of the planet, even here it seems that the development is rampant, it does seem that the government is striking back and fining people or halting their works due to unscrupulous dealings. susan sarandon was recently in town and bought a ton of pretty things for her place from nomad, a lovely shop that our french friend veronique owns and imports for. i do adore susan so that would be lovely to bump into her.  i have been very thrifty so far, in my long three day tour but i have spotted a really cute pottery piggy bank that i may purchase. the coins here that you get from spending money are worth almost nothing, like less than our change in the u.s. so we may fill it up with that. our second bottle of red just got served so i must run and vivir la vida pura. mucho amor amigos!!!

Hope you two had a great fourth of July there in Nosara! Here in Dalzell we enjoyed the jacussi for about an hour and a half, then the hammock and porch rockers for about another hour, then lunched then back onto the porch and the swing and then loads of relations came to eat supper and there was a lot of fun, laughter and good times and some folk fished until dark and some sat on the porch in the rocking chairs and swings and hammock and there was a lot of knee slapping laughing while the old timers like myself sat and remembered how we grew up. Good rest last night and up ready to go yard saleing and to the Columbia, SC flea market. A full day ahead. Talked to Scott last night and they are fine. Remember to call him next when you can. Talk about missing you...the boy is like a sick puppy over his brother. Your trip has brought out some good things in all of us, hasn't it? Hope you blog some today and I cannot access email down here and the blog will give me the news of how you are doing and what all is going on. Love, N.N.
