update
so here i am in costa rica, i have been here since june 30th. it has already been quite the whirl wind experience and it seems like it has only just begun. i just started my job at marlin bill's, waiting tables. i am saving money to take our passport requirement trip in november. i am thinking we will go to panama. looking forward to that. it has begun to rain lots and lots here. i sleep like a baby for hours and hours and hours. i think sometimes that i would be able to sleep all day and night here if there was not interuption or the need for food. christopher got stung by a baby black scorpion. sounds scary but it is actually very common. we have seen lots of different sizes of them from tiny to fairly large. the sting only lasted a few minutes but it was scary. i dreamt last night of a black jaguar/panthercoming into our living area and chasing after us. breaking through windows, and climbing walls. it was wild but oddly not scary. i am definitely getting used to things hereand very much so enjoying my time with christopher. i have just begun reading his dark materials by philip pullman. it is the trilogy that begins with the golden compass.i saw the movie a few times and am looking forward to more detail of the worlds visited. the family we work for will be leaving costa soon. it has been an interesting and at times tense time for them and hopefully when they visit again in january, it will be more relaxed and pleasent. we will surely miss them, especially mia, the daughter. i have thouroughly enjoyed our time, learning dance steps, swim lessons, marco polo, watching movies, and playing different games. she is certainly a sharp tack.

Sounds like your trip is really becoming the experience you dreamed about! Your time is flying by. You are having a lot different time than you thought but that is alright, too. Just take it one day at a time. Carpe diem. Nokie Nokie
