so our family is officially gone back to asheville, and it is officially raining a lot. combining the effects of the tropical stormshitting the coasts of the united states and the stuff going through cuba, and the fact that we are in the deepest part of the the rainyseason, where it rains so hard you think the roof is going to cave in, we are in a wet wet way right now. i am having little issues getting to the office to use my computer because it is a twenty minute walk and one drop of water on the laptop could endanger its livlihood.today i think we are going to do arts and crafts. there is really not a lot to report on except that i feel that i initially thoughti would be a new person when i came down here with new outlooks and no issues or hang ups. wrong answer. i am the same person with the same idiosyncracies that i had at home but here, i walk through the jungle feeling neurotic. i am what i am. that is a powerful lesson on its own i guess. the waiting tables gig is going slow. there is almost noone left in the little city we live in. most restaurants and even hotels close down during a large chunk of this time and reopen getting into high season which is november. our job on the villa cortezhas changed a bit in that it will end on this property in january. then we will find a place to stay for a bit longer, christopher will go back to the states, then i will probably stay a little longer till april, then head back to stop in atlanta hopefully for a few days, thento high point, then to asheville. we are already planning stuff to do when we get back like rehab our living area in christopher's studio, rejoining the y downtown, riding bikes more and walking more, and taking a trip to new york to see my life long friend emily spivey who i love and miss. enuf for now, breakfast is almost ready and i must eat and craft. bye for now.

So good to hear from you again. Sounds like the resting phase now. Good luck with all your plans during the rainey season. All is well here. Bathroom newly remodeled and looking so clean, bright and new in mist yellow, forrest green and white. Such a nice change. Going to Target tonight with Jane, Joan and Fred to look for towels and rug to accent new green marble style floor. Have a great weekend. Carpe Diem. Nokie Nokie
Glad you seem to be a peace with it all. When I first read your post, I thought you meant you WERE ALREADY back in Asheville and I freaked out.
We are looking forwards to seeing you guys upon your return.
Hold on to your hats and britches for the rainy season and thank you so much for keeping us posted on everything...
Love you!
